Chelsea boss Pochettino: Palmer plays like Di Maria

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has likened Cole Palmer to Argentina's World Cup winner Angel di Maria.

The midfielder has been a revelation for Chelsea since his August arrival from Manchester City.

It was put to Pochettino yesterday that Palmer is playing like former Blue Juan Mata.

But the manager said: No, he looks more like Angel Di Maria. If you look at his body and the way he moves, he looks more like Di Maria."

Midfielder Palmer has played 13 matches so far, scoring 5 goals and making 4 assists.
